5 Yoga Asana to Improve Body Flexibility

Hi there! Here are some yoga poses that can help increase your flexibility:

1. Child’s Pose: Sit on your heels with your knees slightly apart and your big toes touching. Fold your torso forward and rest your forehead on the floor. Allow your arms to relax alongside your body.

2. Cat-Cow Pose: Begin on all fours with your wrists directly under your shoulders and your knees directly under your hips. As you inhale, arch your back and look up. As you exhale, round your back and tuck your chin.

3. Cobra Pose: Lie face-down on the floor. Place your hands beneath your shoulders and press your palms into the floor. Draw your shoulder blades together and begin to straighten your arms to lift your torso off the ground.

4. Upward-Facing Dog: Lie face-down and place your hands beneath your shoulders. Push your arms into the ground as you draw your shoulder blades together and lift your torso and legs off the ground.

5. Triangle Pose: Stand with your feet three to four feet apart. Point your right foot out to the side and turn your left foot slightly inwards. Place your left hand on your left hip and extend your right arm towards the ceiling. Reach your right hand down towards the floor, extending your arm and torso to the left side.

I hope these poses help you increase your flexibility! Best of luck!
