Yin Yoga is a slow paced yoga form in which one can feel the deeper level of relaxation along with the deeper joints movement. This is the practice of yogic practices in which relaxation is already there. This form of yoga gives you the deeper insight about how one can learn the strength training and the relaxation method at the same time. This is a fast growing form of yoga and very fewer people are giving it in this way.
You will learn how Yin Yoga can enrich your physical practice and connect you deeper to your self, how it differs from and can balance out other forms of Yoga asana . You will also be provided with a breadth of knowledge in anatomy for Yin, Energetics of the practice and the opportunity to reflect and gain personal insights into how to offer this for the benefit of others. Through the training we aim to take you on a very personal journey and offer you all the tools required to be an excellent Yin Yoga teacher.
We will study the poses in depth, learning how the tissues are affected as well as the energetic influences on the body. You will also be instructed on how to sequence, work safely with injuries and teach responsibly.
Due to the nature of to the practice and study, participants often experience a transformation on various levels, this is fully supported by the serene environment and the experience of the teachers. We create a close knit group where everyone is encouraged to be their authentic self, learn from one another and share. This group dynamic is central to how to how we teach and is down to earth, honest, centered around compassion and trust and is always filled with laughter. These Yin Trainings are unique in their combination of anatomy, energetics and mindful teaching methodology. Encompassing all aspects of the practice and teaching of Yin Yoga and specially infused with Jade Wood and Emily Baxter's individual passions for Traditional Chinese Medicine and functional movement practice.
